Frequently Asked Questions
Can you…?
If you are about to ask if we can do something, let us stop you right there. The answer is almost always yes. From repairs to custom work, to finding one of a kind pieces or watches, we can bring your wildest dreams to life. However, we are limited to working with precious metals and fine watches only, so we will not work on costume jewelry. If you are still looking for more answers, please feel free to send us a text, email, or give us a call.
What is a private jeweler?
The private model of Form To Feeling is nothing to be intimidated by. Cub chose to run his business by appointment only to devote all of his attention to his clients and their needs. On top of being able to have greater control over the quality and process, our private model's lower overhead means that we can keep our pricing fair and honest.
What makes your quality so much higher?
Several factors contribute to our quality. It all starts with the design, where we ensure the piece is engineered in a way that facilitates longevity. Then we use the best materials and the best processes from casting to the gems themselves, many times using the same facilities as the top jewelers in the world. Everything is then brought together and finished in Austin, Texas, by our goldsmith/platinumsmith doing as much by hand as possible.
Do you have watches?
As current production of watches cannot meet existing demand, inquiries are the best way to find the watch you have been dreaming of. Our relationships with watch suppliers and dealers allow us to find our clients the most exclusive watches.
Is this the same company as C. Kirk Root Designs?
No, this is not C. Kirk Root Designs. Lori Root, the owner of C. Kirk Root Designs, closed its doors after the passing of Kirk Root in 2014. Cub Root is Kirk’s son and grew up watching Kirk’s passion for putting his customers first. After his father’s passing, Cub headed to California to study Gemology and developed a similar passion for gems and jewelry. After finishing school, Cub decided to open his own customer-focused business, Form To Feeling, where some of Kirk’s most popular designs can be found in The Kirk Root Collection.
I was at a private event where you had designer jewelry. I would like to buy a piece from their collection. How can I do this?
Please visit our Designer Collections page and let us know what event you recently attended and what piece you are looking for. We are more than happy to get you pieces from any and all designers as they are available.
