Pavé designs like this are very often problematic with long-term durability. That is because the arrangement of the diamonds on all three sides of the shank is usually made in a way that sacrifices metal density and strength. We engineered this ring to not only have the beautiful pavé design but also to last a lifetime. This 3 carats round brilliant diamond is cut to the highest possible cut standard available, the 8X cut grade from GCAL. That diamond was then set into a custom-designed platinum setting, with perfect ideal cut melee diamonds set pavé in the shank.
